Norah Annette Carrai
Virginia Beach – Norah Annette Carrai, 78, passed away October 29, 2009. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and retired from Civil Service after 25 years of service. In her last years she was totally devoted to her husband as caretaker and confidant. Norah was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, and a constant friend.
Norah is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward H. Carrai; three daughters, Missy Patterson, Amy Brillhart, and Laura Kent; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Edward Brodboll.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd in Virginia Beach. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
