O'Leary, Sara G., 92, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, November 2, 2009 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born December 12, 1916 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Dennis P. and Sallie Gallagher O'Leary.
She was a retired employee of Equifax with 43 years of service, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, Christian Mothers, Carroll Ladies, Wheeling Hospital Auxiliary, and Sisters of St. Joseph Foundation Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Margaret O'Leary, three brothers, Arthur, Sylvanus and Lawrence O'Leary, a sister-in-law, Ada O'Leary, a brother-in-law, Charles E. Regele Sr.
Surviving is her sister, Nancy C. Regele, two nieces, Sally (Frank) Scenna of Wheeling; Beth (Ed) Anderson of Columbus, OH; formerly of Bellaire, OH; three nephews, Charles E. Regele Jr. of Seattle, WA; Dennis M. Regele of Wheeling; Larry (Theresa) O'Leary of Costa Mesa, CA; several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 8:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.
Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
