Mary F. Tarket
Chesapeake - Mary F. Tarket, 75, a native of Norfolk, passed away November 4, 2009.
Mary was a dedicated mother. She worked at Sentara Leigh for 25 years in the cafeteria as a cashier. She was very devoted to her job there.
Mary is survived by 4 children, Helen Rule (James) of Norfolk, VA., Anthony "Tony" Tarket of CA., Angela Porter (Keith) of MO., and Alice "Michelle" Bruce (Richard) of Chesapeake, VA.; 7 grandchildren, Robert Williams Sr., Angela Moore (Bryan I), Christopher, Zachary, Katharine Rule, Lindsey, and Cassandra Porter; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryan Moore II, Robert Williams Jr., and Alexandria Williams; 1 sister, Vera Rhodes. She will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Hutton officiating. The family will receive friend's from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lee's Friends, 7400 Hampton Blvd, Rm 201, Norfolk, VA 23505.
