FATULA, Russell A. "Rusty", 49, Owner of Wheeling Tent and Awning Co., Wheeling, died Monday, July 19, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on October 6, 1960 a son of Norma Mruzek Fatula and the late George Fatula, Jr.
Rusty was a Christian by faith and as a great humanitarian donated his time, talent and treasure to his community.
He dearly loved and dedicated his life to his son, Ashton. Rusty was proud to see his work on every street corner in the valley.
He was a member of the Foresters Club, he helped Post #89, American Legion, the Masons and local Fire Departments as well as State Police detachments with charity work.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Ashton Fatula of St. Clairsville, a brother, George Fatula III of Wheeling and countless friends who he loved unconditionally.
Wheeling Tent and Awning Company will continue under the leadership of Rusty's son, Ashton.
Friends will be received at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm where services will be held on Monday at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens.
