McDonald, Darlene, 63, of Moundsville, WV, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at home.
She was born September 27, 1946 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Robb Guzek.
Darlene was a self-employed beautician, a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was a U.S. Army veteran,
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Wightman and Marlene “Bobbie” Haynes.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 37 years, Larry W. McDonald; three sons, Shannon W. (Erica) McDonald of Moundsville, Larry J. McDonald of Pittsburgh, PA, and Edward L. McDonald of Moundsville; a daughter, Evelyn M. (Ronnie) Spencer of Granite Falls, NC; a brother, James E. Guzek of Moundsville; six grandchildren, Zebulon, Nocoa, Isaiah and Solomon Spencer, and Dalton and William McDonald.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 26, 2010 with Evangelist Brian Price and Rev. Terry Adams, TOR, officiating.
Military services will be conducted by the Moundsville Honor Guard.
