HAZEL V. FRAME
VIRGINIA BEACH - Daughter, Wife, Mom, Granny, Nanny all names that she was known by as she walked with her family on this Earth, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2010 with most of her family by her bedside. She was born on July 6, 1926 in Plymouth, NC to Azor and Susan Craddock. The baby of her family, she was always close to her brothers and sisters and their extended families.
She met the love of her life, Ernest Frame when she was just a teenager; they soon married and made their life in Virginia Beach. Their marriage produced four children, who now cherish her memory; Patricia Thompson and her husband Tom of Virginia Beach, Carol Thompson and her husband John of Winfall, NC, Ernie Frame and his wife Brenda of Virginia Beach, and Faye Gilbert and her husband Wayne of Virginia Beach. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She worked in retail and retired from Standard Form Printers. Her family was her life and she loved each one uniquely as her den walls were filled with pictures of them all. She loved redbirds and her church. Now, after 33 years apart, she rejoins her life's love in Heaven.
A funeral will be held at 11:30 on Thursday, July 29 at Virginia Beach Free Will Baptist, by Dr. J.D. Norris, Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home on Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. Condolences may be expressed at www.altmeyer.com.
