To my daughter-in-law April,
I am thankful that you came into our lives. I know that you loved my son dearly, as he did you. You will be greatly missed and in our hearts always.
Love Mary,
or better yet, MS. Knigge as your polite sweet self insisted on calling me.
I love you April.

I know that April struggled for a very long time but she was a very loving and caring person when I had the pleasure of knowing her. I hope that she has found peace. I am very sorry for your loss.

Although it has been many, many years since I have seen April, I have always remembered her bright smile and the things that she had influenced on me in my early teens.
I remember staying with her on weekends thinking... wow.. it is odd that she slept with the radio on -- after that... for years... my radio was on at night too. Or the time she ordered steamed shrimp for dinner, and although I would have never tried that EVER before in my life - I ordered the same. I remember her saying you've NEVER heard of Violent Femmes and we listened to it Blister in the Sun over and over.....
I am only sorry that we never kept in touch after that...
I am sure she was a blessing to all of you and there is an influence that she had on each of us that we still carry in our lives -
I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family and friends and pray for each of you during this time...

April
you and I shared so much when we were little, I will never forget the special times we shared together.
The laughter, tears, and great moments. I remember the day you stepped back into my life for a short time and I meet your loving husband. Remembering times long pasted with you was great. I have often thought of you wishing we had stayed in touch. I have always thought of you as a sister. At least I know my life was blessed from knowing you and that you are in a great place and one day we will meet again. Gary and the family are in my prayers..I know words can not comfort at this time..But think of her as she would have wanted...with a smile..

I always remember April as a sweet child - She was our step-sister for several years - and even though we did not keep in touch, over the years I have thought fondly of the memories of the four of us playing and traveling as children. We will be thinking of and praying for her and her family at this sad time of loss.

Although we are sad that we can no longer see April, we take great comfort in the fact that she is now resting with The Lord and the friends and family that have already left us. We will miss her very much. Love always, C.J., Renee, Aiden and Noah Sgroi

You were loved so very much. What will Christmas be without you waking us up in the wee hour of the morning? April, tell God thank you for lending you to us. We love you honey, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. Mom and Dad
