Guestbook for Andrew A. Zaleski, Sr. Showing 1 - 25 of 31 entries.

Dear Andy, Bob and Janet,

Having grown up practically next door to you, I have many fond memories of your father. He was a real innovator and an entrepruneur, and was especially friendly to everyone around him.I had the opportunity to visit with him this past July and he was still the happy, flamboyant Mr. Zaleski I remembered.Losing a parent is one of the most painful experiences in life and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Zaleski Family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers today.
I enjoyed serving with Mr. Zaleski on the Wheeling Traffic Commission several years ago.
When the commission members went to look at the properties we had to make decisions on, he would point out different buildings that he remembered from his childhood - including the house he was born in!
He knew quite a bit of Wheeling history!
Peace be with you.

Bob & Tina, So sorry to hear about your father. As I don't get the Wheeling paper I had no idea until Tammy Hilliard told me tonight. You have my deepest sympathies. He was such a wonderful man, so full of life. John just thought the world of him. May-be they will share some stories together, and a few laughs, where ever they now may be. Love to you both, Lesley A Victoria

To The Zaleski Family, My deepest sympathies on the passing of your Father and Grandfather. Andy was truly a treasure. He became a dear friend of my Grandmother, Anna and my Father, Matt when he delivered produce to their grocery store in Benwood. Andy was never too busy to talk to old friends, have lunch and give the latest stock tips. I treasured his friendship and enjoyed talking and listening to him. He was proud of his heritage and family. Andy touched many lives. We all were truly blessed with a loving, kind and generous man. He will be deeply missed. What a wonderful life!

Janet, Andy(Junior), & Bob

You have our very deepest sympathy. Your father was a wonderful, wonderful man. Always smiling, always remembering. He would tell people, I've known her since she was "this" small. Our families grew up together, many good memories of Warwood. He always held my hand when talking to me; you just didn't want to let go. But now, he is holding Someone elses Hand and He will never let go. He's finally with your Mom; May they rest in peace.
My husband, Andy, will miss his Polish chats. They always talked Polish and laughed together.

With Deepest Sorrow.

Dear Zaleski Family,
I met Andrew back in 1983, when my office was next to his at A.E. Maston. I would visit with him on my lunch hour. I was going through a difficult time in my life. We would talk about everything under the sun. I always enjoyed visiting with him because he made me feel better and I would always learn something. I remember he kept a picture of his beautiful wife in his office. It was so obvious that she was truly the love of his life. He spoke of her often.
He was a wonderful man. I just want you all to know that he will forever hold a place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

To all the Zaleski family,
I couldn't say it better than my brother, Bill. You dad certainly was a "quiet giant". Please accept our deep condolences. May you take comfort and strength from the wonderful family he and Mrs. Zaleski have been responsible for creating.
May God bless your family in this time and always,

To the family of Papa Z. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. May this Irish blessing bring peace to your hearts.
